DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS SAILING ADVENTURE

Due to the complexity of arranging foreign programs the following cancellation policy is required. Cancellations made over 90 days prior to the starting date of the program, you will be granted a full refund minus the $100 non-refundable reservation fee. Cancellations are made less than 90 days prior to the starting date

you will be charged 50% of program cost.

No refunds are given when cancellations are made less than 60 days prior to the starting date. 

If your plans change before July 1st, your $100 deposit and any other payments made are refundable. At anytime, you may find a replacement

for your spot if you need to cancel at no extra charge.

TRIP INSURANCE

Blue Water Ventures (BWV) highly recommends that participants purchase Travel Insurance for all international trip destinations.  Travel insurance is an inexpensive

way to protect your vacation investment.

Please consult your travel agent or search online as there are many affordable policies to choose from.

Policies vary and arrangements may need to be made within two-three weeks of your first trip payment. Please review your policy carefully before purchasing. Examples of coverage include: injuries or sudden illness before your trip begins which prohibits your participation; costs related to loss luggage or canceled air travel; evacuations during your trip for medical emergencies and some policies may cover trip cancellation if a family member becomes ill before your departure.

Many of our clients have been very happy with CSA Travel Insurance    or  Travel Guard.

BWV is not responsible for any expenses incurred by participants related to a canceled program or one they participated in, costs such as airline tickets, flight change fees, lost luggage, missed flights, medical fees, evacuations, visa fees, transportation, lodging, etc. If you miss your flight or do not arrive at our designated start time, BWV is not responsible for expenses

required to catch up with our group.

BWV reserves the right to cancel a trip before it's departure date for any reason including insufficient participation. Blue Water Ventures does not assume responsibility for program changes or trip cancellations due to situations such as those related to weather, natural disasters or political events (i.e. war or terrorist acts) or any other reason. Furthermore, BWV is not responsible for changes in private or governmental sectors, both at the domestic and international level, that may effect this trip including the termination of this trip.
